Industrial Simulation and Training Models
The line of fischertechnik simulation models are designed to provide a compact, engaging, and hands-on method for teaching and demonstrating high end automated systems. The line consists of a series of pre-assembled, small scale models, which are designed to replicate—in appearance and function—various automated/robotic machines and systems commonly used in commercial manufacturing.
These models are ideal for teaching automated systems and PLC programming and control in high schools, CTE programs, college labs, vo-tech schools, and industrial training classes.
The fischertechnik Training Factory Industry 4.0 – 24V is an extremely flexible, modular, reasonably priced, and highly robust training and simulation model for use with most popular industrial PLCs.
Changes in industrial production driven by digitalization make stronger networking and more relevant information necessary on all production levels. With the fischertechnik Training Factory Industry 4.0, these digitalization activities can be simulated, learned, and applied on a small scale before they are implemented on a large scale.
The fischertechnik Training Factory Industry 4.0 is a 24V simulation model that consists of factory modules including storage and retrieval stations, a Vacuum Gripper robot, High-Bay Warehouse, Multi-Processing Station with Oven, a Sorting Line with Color Detection, an environmental sensor, and a pivoting camera. It is especially designed for exploring and understanding industry 4.0 applications in vocational schools and training as well as for research, teaching and development at universities, in companies, and IT departments.
Model consists of a transport belt with a length of 275 mm. used to transport workpieces with a diameter of up to 29mm. Multiple conveyors can easily be connected to increase the length of transport as desired. Fully assembled training model for use with PLC (Programable Logic Controllers) and PLC programming software.

Advantages:
The use of artificial intelligence in industry, education and research is becoming more and more important. The Quality Control with AI System model from fischertechnik is ideal for visualising this complex subject in a hands-on way since it creates a sustainable learning experience by linking theory and practice.

Ideal add-on for expanding the capabilities of the Agile Production Simualtion Model
The APS Add On: Automated guided vehicle system extends the Agile Production Simulation (APS) with an additional automated guided vehicle system (AGV). This is responsible for intralogistics within APS and enables agile and flexible processes. The additional AGV significantly increases the possibilities of intralogistics. Parallelization and prioritization in the production workflow can be planned, tested and experienced. At the same time, the complexity of logistics processes increases.
The fischertechnik production line 24V simulates a series of interlinked production steps.
At the beginning, the workpieces are loaded from a magazine onto a rotary indexing table with four stations using a pneumatic pusher. The rotary indexing table transports the workpieces step by step to the drilling and welding station, where the workpieces are processed. At the last station of the rotary indexing table, a vacuum suction gripper removes the processed workpieces and places them on a conveyor belt. This transports the workpieces to the palletizing unit, where 3 workpieces are collected and then pushed onto a pallet.
The fischertechnik bending machine 24V simulates the transportation and bending of workpieces.
The model can be used in either semi-automatic or automatic mode. In semi-automatic mode, the unbent workpieces are manually inserted into the transport carriage. In automatic mode, the transport carriage positions itself automatically under a magazine that provides the workpieces. The loaded carriage then transports the workpiece to the bending machine, where it is bent. The transport carriage then takes the bent workpiece to the removal point.
Expansion module for use with the Agile Production Simulation model.
The APS Add On: Kiln adds a new production module to the Agile Production Simulation (APS). The standard configuration with a drilling and milling module is extended by the option of a kiln. The additional process module allows the introduction of new derivatives into production or the expansion of existing production configurations by an additional process step.
